There are various levels of classes, depending on whether you are a beginner or a more advanced student.

This level requires one year of regular yoga practice. For those who are confident in their knowledge of the basic asanas taught at the Beginners classes. Students who are ready to learn the fundamental of headstand (Sirsasana).
For all students with at least 5 months regular Iyengar yoga practice following the Beginners classes. See below.
The basics of Iyengar Yoga method for beginners who have done some yoga before. Standing poses and shoulderstand. Those new to Iyengar Yoga are recommended to take this class or the Introductory class. Here you get a good introduction to the Iyengar method and taught in the basic asanas (poses).
Don’t miss the next 4 sessions of 60-minute introduction to Iyengar yoga and the more basic asanas. These classes are for total beginners who have never done yoga before or not Iyengar yoga. The class deals with general problems due to age, such as stiffness in the joints, shoulder or neck, or injury. Props are used to give support to the student who is less flexible and/or injured, to help them achieve the yoga poses with attention to alignment and prevention of further injuries.
